Back Garden
The different seasons in our back garden. It is overlooking the Château of Mesnières-en-Bray. Do you have an energetic dog who might like to run in such an open space?
Front Garden
Do you fancy sitting in the shade of our fine Oak tree on the front lawn, reading a book, in high summer? You can be sure that you will be serenaded by our large family of swallows. If you are lucky, you might spot the deer eating our glorious roses, especially the white roses! And we provide a gas fire BBQ which you can enjoy on the patio.
The Entrance
The small River is a joy all the year. It never runs dry although in winter the flow is sometimes quite strong! Mallard favour it in Spring, and the Heron is always keeping us company there! It is a good place to take a Pic Nic with a Bottle of Rose Wine perhaps, on a hot summer day. Trout swim up stream to spawn, but they are hard to spot. The Mature trees give lots of shade creating a wonderful place to doze during the day in Summertime. You will be accompanied by the Willow Warblers, Chiff Chaff, and Red Starts, some of our Summer visitors. And it is very secluded, as it is a private road.
