Robert and I listed Beau Soleil with Airbnb https://www.airbnb.com/h/beau-soleil in 2019 and officially accepted bookings in second half of 2019. We had a good start, unfortunately the pandemic had put our short term rental (STR) business to a halt for twenty months.
As we all had witnessed, many businesses never got a chance to rebound globally. We are some of the fortunate ones who got to re-open our business. The new norm has changed the way people travel. We noticed most holiday makers prefer to avoid public transport if they can help it. Therefore, cross country travel by car and inbound tourism was on a raise till beginning of 2023. We could see on our social media wall, many friends and previous business associates were flying abroad for holidays. Maybe many have cumulated their holiday funds during the pandemic lockdown or Covid is more under control and holiday makers are feeling safe to fly. The majority of our clients were from Germany, Netherlands, France and some from Asia. We noticed our English clients have dropped since Brexit; might be the uncertainty of travel rules and escalating cost of travel. We are very pleased to start receiving bookings from English clients since mid of 2023.
Robert and I used to live out of a suitcases prior to hosting our #STR (short term rental) Beau Soleil https://www.beau-soleil.eu During those stays, there were pleasant experiences as well as what could be better; and we decided to set up Beau Soleil in the way we both love to experience. Therefore, Beau Soleil aims to provide Calm, Comfort, Convenience, and Seclusion in an open space.
We are both dog lovers, and needless to say, we position #BeauSoleil as dog friendly #holidayrental farmhouse.
We gain so much pleasure from hearing the laughter from our clients. Our recent triumph was the returning of our client! As a gesture of appreciation, we invited them for an aperitif and more importantly, it is an example of how clients become good friends!
